| The weapons and items in Manhunt 2
are divided into four colour classes:
Yellow – yellow class items are used as
lures and are stored on the back of Daniels belt.
Green – green class items are single use
weapons, since they are generally so small they are stored in
Daniels pocket.
Blue – blue class weapons are multi-use
and range from small firearms to melee weapons, Daniel tucks these
weapons into the side of his belt.
Red – all red class items are multi-use
weapons and range from melee attack weapons to large firearms,
Daniel stores these items on his back.
All hand weapons have three levels of execution and a jumping execution
that can be achieved by jumping on top of a hunter once targetted
with the item in hand. All firearms have one single execution per
weapon.
Please note: the execution write ups are based
on the PlayStation 2 version of the game. There are some differences
between the PS2/PSP and Nintendo Wii executions, these differences
will be noted at a later date.
The katana is exclusive to the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable
versions of the game while the Mace, Whiskey Bottle and Razor can
only be found in the Nintendo Wii build of Manhunt 2.
Brick
/ Bottle / Can / Head / Golf Ball |
| Item description: All yellow class items
are known as 'lure' items. They are used to lure a hunter into
a specific area allowing you to execute them. Lures cannot be
used to kill hunters instead they are used to distract a hunter
so that he can be easily executed all of them can be reused
apart from the bottle which smashes when thrown. Brick:
Bricks can be seen throughout the streets. Bricks are a multiple
use lure item, meaning they can be reused once picked up.
Used in a similar way to the Can the brick can be used to
daze a hunter if thrown at his head, if Danny is quick enough
he can get round behind the hunter and execute him.
Bottle: Bottles are a single use lure item,
meaning they can’t be reused once picked up. The bottle
is the only lure that can’t be used after it has been
thrown as it smashes.
Can: As is bottles and bricks, Cans can
be found throughout the city.
Head: You can acquire a hunters head by
severing it from the body. This lure is different from the
other lures however as if a hunter spots the head then he
treats it similar to how he would if it were a dead body.
Unfortunately due to issues with the ratings board it is only
possible to decapitate a hunter in the episodes ‘Sexual
Deviants’ and ‘Origins’.
Golf Ball: Found on roofs and gardens in
the surrounding neighbourhoods, golf balls are multiple use
lures.

Invented by the American
farmer back in 1874, barbed wire is reinvented by Daniel
Lamb, not to keep the neighbours cows from grazing on
his land, but to expose the innards of the throat and
groin regions. Barbed wire is a terrible way to go.
To kill, wrap it around the neck and pull. |
|
Hasty: The wire is wrapped
around the hunters neck, after about two seconds the hunter
drops to his knees after another two seconds the hunter ceases
to move.
Violent: Daniel slips the wire around the
hunters neck and pushes down on the back of the hunters half
forcing the hunter to fall to his knees. Now with added leverage
Danny continues to pull backwards tearing into the throat
of the hunter, Daniel releases his grip as the body becomes
limp.
Gruesome: He puts the wire between the hunter’s
legs and tears upwards through the hunter’s groin. As
the hunter attempts to fend off Daniel on only one knee Daniel
wraps the wire around the hunter’s neck and tears through
the his neck.
Jumping: Daniel jumps down behind the hunter
and wraps the barbed wire around his neck, he then strangles
him until he falls to the ground, Daniel continues to choke
the hunter as he lies on the ground until he draws his last
breath.

One mans broken window
is another’s tool of death. Insanity and broken
glass go hand-in-hand, you can find glass shards in
various places around town, glass shards can found
or created by breaking any glass item in the game.
Equip one of these to increase damage during a fistfight
but use caution as they do eventually shatter.
|
|
Hasty: Danny jumps on
to the hunters back and stabs him in the stomach three times,
on the third stab he pulls the glass shard up towards the
hunters face, ripping the hunter’s stomach open.
Violent: Daniel reaching round from behind
the hunter and slits the hunter’s throat; he then turns
the hunter around and stabs him four more times in the stomach.
Gruesome: The glass shard is jammed into
the hunter’s anus and pulled up his back forcing him
onto his knees, Danny then takes the shard and sticks it in
the hunter’s eye and wiggles it about, he then rips
it towards the top of the hunter skull and slices his throat.
Jumping: Daniel lands on the ground and
stabs the hunter in the shoulder, he then pulls the glass
shard out of the shoulder and stabs the hunter four times
in the face and finished off by slicing their throat.

When there is no suitable
ink cartridge to refill your fountain pen why not use
blood? This item is useful when in a bind and no other
weapon can be found. This one-use weapon remains imbedded
in the victim's neck, making sure that the wound continues
to bleed-out thus can’t be reused for a second
time. |
|
Hasty: Daniel stabs the
hunter in the throat, as the hunter reaches for the wound
Daniel snaps the pen and pushes the hunter to the ground.
Violent: Daniel taps the hunter on the back,
as the hunter turns around Daniel drabs hold of his right
arm and shoves the pen into his jugular, Danny then shoves
the hunter over as his body goes limp.
Gruesome: Daniel stabs the hunter in the
side of the neck, as the hunter turns around in pain he stabs
him in the left eye followed by the right. The hunter attempts
to protect his face with his hands as Daniel stabs him in
the stomach 3 more times with the pen, with the third blow
he lifts the hunter from the ground and snaps the pen while
still lodged in the hunter’s stomach.
Jumping: Danny jumps on the hunters back
knocking him down to the ground Danny then stabs the pen the
hunter’s neck twice causing him to bleed to death.

You'll be putting more than
a head of lettuce in these; this one-use weapon is tied
around the victim's head and used to suffocate the breath
from the victims’ lungs. It is lost after one
use as it is sucked halfway down the victim's throat
and tied off around his neck. You can pick these items
up in and around the streets you roam in Manhunt 2. |
|
Hasty: Daniel places the
bag over the hunter head and pulls back, suffocating the hunter.
After about five seconds the hunter falls to the ground.
Violent: Daniel pulls the bag over the hunters
head, spins the hunter around and punches him in the stomach
and then the face then finishes the hunter off with a head
butt resulting in the hunters nose being broken, thus suffocating
him.
Gruesome: The bag is pulled over the hunters
head, disoriented he is then punched in the face twice by
Daniel before being kicked in the shin taking his legs taken
away from him. Laying face down on the concrete Daniel grabs
the hunter from behind and elbow the back of his head then
gives him a dashing elbow to the head taking him clean out.
Jumping: Daniel jumps on top of the hunter,
slipping the bag over his head and forcing the hunters face
into the ground. After the initial slam of the hunters head
of the ground Daniel then forces the hunters head back into
the concrete for a second time.

The syringe is a familiar object that many humans
must endure from time to time. It is most often
spotted in medical facilities used by medical staff
or in seedy neighbourhoods by degenerate junkies
looking for a buzz. The Daniel Lamb prescription
ensures that all those injected do not return for
seconds.
Hasty: Daniel
reaches over the hunters shoulder and injects him
in the chest; Danny keeps hold of the hunter until
he has stopped moving.
Violent: Daniel kicks the hunter
in the testicles; the hunter then drops to his knees
allowing for Danny to then stab the syringe into
the side of the hunter’s neck. The hunter
attempts to block the blow but is unsuccessful and
falls to the ground limp.
Gruesome: Daniel grabs the hunter
by the legs and pushes him down on his stomach,
he then kicks the hunter in the side and kneels
down over him and injects the syringe into his neck.
|
|
Jumping: Danny jumps on
top of the hunter, knocking him to the ground. Daniel then
turns him around and stabs the syringe into the hunter’s
throat a few times until he is dead.

This is a Nintendo Wii exclusive
weapon; all other console players can only use bottles
as lure items. Left behind by homeless drunks and people
down on their luck, pick it up and bash an enemy over
the head with it. The whiskey bottle is a one-use item
as after using it, it shatters into pieces. |
|
Hasty: Daniel smashes
the bottle over the hunters head and then sticks the broken
bottle into the hunters throat and wriggles it about before
ripping downwards with the bottle exposing the hunters throat.
Violent: Daniel smacks the bottle over the
back of the hunters head then grabs the hunters head with
his left arm and pulls his head into his chest and sticks
the exposed bottle into the hunter’s throat and wriggles
the bottle around a little before the hunter falls to the
ground.
Gruesome: Danny smashes the bottle over
the top of the hunter head while grabbing the hunter’s
right arm with his left hand, as the hunter buckles over in
pain Daniel stabs him in the stomach with the broken bottle
three times and finished him of by shoving the broken bottle
into the hunter’s neck, slicing his throat. The hunter
puts his hand to the wound and falls to the ground.
Jumping: Daniel lands on the ground while
simultaneously smashing the bottle over the hunter’s
head; with the bottle now broken he sticks the broken edge
of the bottle in the hunter’s throat and wriggles it
about before finishing the hunter off by ripping the bottle
back out, ripping the hunter’s throat wide open.

| Although the blade guard prevents beheadings,
you'll probably still handle power saws more carefully after
witnessing what Daniel is able to do to the human body with
one of these bad boys. No need for an extension cord, this
battery operated saw goes where you go, and delivers cutting
power like no other saw.
Hasty: Danny cuts up the hunters back with
the saw, he then walks around to the front of the hunter and
runs the saw across his face.
Violent: Daniel cuts through
the back of the hunter’s knee forcing the hunter onto
his back. Daniel then runs the saw up from the hunters groin
through his skull.
Gruesome: Daniel hits the
hunter over the back of the head with the saw, once the hunter
falls to his knees Danny cuts his arm forcing the hunter to
drop completely to the ground. Danny finishes up by cutting
across the hunters neck horizontally.
Jumping: Daniel leaps on to the hunter and
smacks the hunter on the top of the head with the blade of
the saw. As the hunter lies on the ground, face down holding
the back of his head Daniel runs the saw up from the hunters

The crowbar has three multiple uses, it can be used for busting
open padlocks and opening otherwise concealed areas or for
ripping faces off would be pursuers.
Hasty: The crowbar is stuck
square in the back of the hunter and wiggled around until
he hits the ground.
Violent: Daniel sticks the
hooked side of the crowbar into the top of the hunter’s
skull; he then pulls back on the crowbar three times before
successfully ripping it from the hunter’s cranium.
Gruesome: Danny sticks the
crowbar into the back of the hunter’s neck and snaps
it back out. When the hunter hits the ground Danny stabs him
five times in the stomach, on the fifth stab he wiggles the
crowbar around, making sure the hunter is down permanently.
Jumping: The hunter is jumped
from behind and clubbed on the back of the head with the crowbar,
Danny then hooks the hunters face with the crowbar and rips
backwards and forwards until he pulls the crowbar back out
of the hunters head. |

The flare gun is typically used for distress
signals or to illuminate otherwise dark areas, when in the
hands of Daniel or Leo it is nothing short of lethal. A
few weel placed shots and the enemy will be taking down
in a ball of flames.
Execution: The hunter
attempts to throw a punch which is blocked by Daniel, he
then head butts the hunter in the face causing him to fall
to his knees this is when Danny uses the flare gun and fires
off a shot in the hunters face causing his head to explode.
Danny shakes the gore off the gun afterwards.

The flashlight is a multipurpose item,
not only can it be used for executing hunters but the player
is also able to use it as a lure by turning the flashlight
on. If a hunter spots the flashlight he will be alerted
and run to investigate, this also comes in useful for lighting
up dark areas. Caution must be used when approaching a hunter
from behind, if you accidentally turn the flashlight on
the hunter will turn around and be aware of the player
Hasty: The hunter is clubbed
a swinging blow, apparently breaking his neck killing him
instantly.
Violent: The hunter is
hit from behind with the handle of the flashlight he is
then knocked to the floor and turns to face his attacker
only to be hit in the face with the pliers.
Gruesome: Leo clubs the
hunter on the back of the head, when the hunter turns around
Leo hits him a further five times forcing him onto his back.
He then smacks the hunter two more times to the front of
the face.
Jumping: As Leo drops
down behind the hunter he smacks him on the top of the head,
dropping him to his knees, with the hunter now on his knees
he smacks him on the right side of his face followed by

The hacksaw most commonly is used for wood
worn or cutting through metal tubing, in Manhunt 2 it is
used for cutting open the skulls of Project scientists.
Crafted with metal teeth with a handle, while it is categorized
as one of the less damaging weapons in the game, try and
tell that to the guy whose vertebrae fragments are dancing
on the ground like marbles.
Hasty: Daniel grabs the
hunter from behind and puts one arm around him and uses
the saw to cut deeper and deeper into the hunter’s
neck after about four seconds his head comes off.
Violent: The hunter is punched in the kidney
then forced on to his knees by Daniel stepping on his calf,
Daniel then grabs the hunters head from behind and places
his arm around the hunter’s neck, with the hunter unable
to break free Daniel proceeds to saw into the top of hunter’s
skull.
Gruesome: In one swift motion the saw blade
is pulled up through the centre of the hunter’s anus
dropping the hunter to his knees. Daniel then approaches the
fallen hunter and pulls him backwards with his left hand all
while he saws into his neck for a few seconds before the hunter
goes prone.
Jumping: Daniel jumps
from the steps and hits the hunter on the back of the head
with the blade of the hacksaw knocking him to his knees.
Daniel then grabs the hunters neck and leans his head back
and viciously cuts away at his neck with the saw, he then
throws the hunter to the ground.

Hasty: The hunter’s
right knee is broken by a swing of the stick forcing the
hunter to fall onto his left knee. Daniel then tilts the
hunters head back and clubs them in the throat.
Violent: The end of the
nightstick is forced into the hunter’s lower back,
as the hunter bends over in agony he is clubbed in the shoulder
region forcing him onto his knees. Daniel then brings the
nightstick along the hunter’s throat and sticks his
knee into the hunters back and snaps his neck, Danny then
uses the end of the stick to push the dead hunter over.

These were used more prominently
prior to the turn of the 20th century and are more
commonly used amongst barbers now-a-days and are typically

a shave so close it kills. This is a Nintendo Wii
exclusive weapon. |

hunters left thigh, forcing the hunter to turn around grabbing
the wound, this allows Daniel to pull the razor across the
hunters left cheek, Daniel then slices the razor from across
the back of the hunters neck down to the right hand side of
his throat, the hunter reaches for the back of his neck with
both hands as Daniel pushes him over with his left hand, leaving

This curved, hand-held harvesting
blade is good for cutting produce... or hunters. Manhunt
2 puts the ‘sick’ in sickle, executions
with this instrument are unforgettable. Executions aside,
fighting face-to-face with one of these makes short

incomparable blade. |

Hasty: The sickle is swung
up through the hunters groin and out his back, ripping out
his internal organs he falls over dead.
Violent: Danny rips into the centre of the
hunters back using the sickle, pulling the sickle down and
out, the hunter then drops to his knees where Danny then embeds
the sickle into the hunter’s and rips it back out.
Gruesome: Daniel grabs the hunter in a choke
hold and slices into his gut with the sickle and rips it diagonally
from the pit of his gut up to his shoulder. Once the sickle
has penetrated the hunter Daniel releases the hunter, forcing
him to hunch over on all fours, Danny then again grabs the
hunter and runs the sickle across the hunters throat.
Jumping: The hunter is grabbed by his shoulder
while Danny is in the air once he lands on the ground he puts

When shot by a tranquilizer round, you

with enough tranquilizer rounds, the damage becomes more
severe. Once you are lucky enough to obtain this weapon,

The M16 can be fired fully automatic or
more conservatively with single round blasts (let the distance

fires 5.56x 45mm rounds at 950 rounds per minute. The magazine

so anything less than a headshot will require a fair amount
of ammo. Anyone not wearing armour is best to use caution.

This unifying implement connects America's
favourite pastime to brutal assaults. The baseball bat is
the heavest of the club-like weapons in the game and occupies
the red class weapon slot. This heavy hitter can slow you
down in a head-to-head fight, but its weight makes no difference

bat of the back of the hunters head resulting in an instant
kill.
Violent: The bat is used
to strike the hunter between his shoulder blades forcing
the hunter to his knees, Daniel then takes a double handed
swing of the bat across the hunters face.

to the sniper rifle, except you can strafe while in scope
mode in the Nintendo Wii version of the game. On the bright
side, the miss-aimed bow bolts can be reacquired. It takes
two bolts to bring down an enemy, unless you secure a headshot.
Execution:Daniel places the crossbow directly
behind the hunter’s jugular and shoots an arrow through
the hunter’s neck, the hunter falls to his knees and
Danny pulls the arrow out leaving the hunter to bleed to death.

The Tin Man, Paul Bunyan, Daniel, and Leo:
people who would like to axe you a question. This weapon
removes the head (which can be used as a lure) in all levels
of execution: Hasty, Violent, and Gruesome. The fire axe
is normally used for falling trees, chopping wood or breaking
down doors. Hunters use the bladed, hand held implement
for splitting skulls.
Hasty: The hunter’s
head is chopped off from behind.
Violent: Danny swings
the axe into the hunters back; the hunter drops to his knees
and reaches for the wound, Daniel then takes a second swing
at the hunter taking his head clean off.
Gruesome: Daniel lodges
the axe into the stomach of the hunter, then punches the
hunter in the jaw twice and pulls the axe out of his stomach.
The hunter then falls to ground clutching his stomach in
pain and Daniel raises the axe over his head and forces
it down onto the hunter.
Jumping: As Daniel jumps on top of the hunter
he swings the (blunt) side of the axe off the back of the
hunters head. With the hunter now laying face down on the
ground Daniel takes a double armed swing of the Axe down into
the hunters back, finishing him off completely.

pulls the sword back out again.
Violent: Danny sticks
the sword into the hunters back and the blade goes right
through the hunter’s body. Daniel then pulls the sword
back out and decapitates the screaming hunter.
Gruesome: Danny uses the
sword to cut into the hunters leg from behind so that he
falls to his knees, once he is on his knees he realises
that he is being attacked and puts his hand up to defend
himself but Daniel cuts into the hunter’s arm, now
that the hunter is defenceless Danny cuts into the hunters
neck and eventually cuts his head off.
Jumping: Daniel jumps
down with the sword in hand and cuts into the hunters back

The Mace is a Nintendo Wii-exclusive weapon,
the mace-not to be confused with the pepper spray variety,
is a metal spiked ball on a metal shaft. And you thought
the baseball bat would hurt, any blow from the face leaves
a mess best described as hamburger meat.
Hasty: Danny swings the mace into the back
of the hunters head with his right hand, dropping the hunter
to his knees, with the mace now embedded in the hunters skull
he grabs the mace with both hands and pushes his foot against
the hunters back for leverage, Daniel then pulls the mace
towards himself, ripping the hunters skull open in the process.
Violent: Daniel pushes the hunters left
shoulder with his left hand, burling the hunter around to
face him, Daniel then swings the mace across the hunters face
and then quickly into the hunters groin, as he rips the mace
out the hunter drops on all fours allowing for Daniel to take
a two handed swing of the mace down onto the back of the hunters
skull.
Gruesome: Daniel swings
the mace into the right shoulder of the hunter, as the hunter
turns around Daniel swings the mace into the hunter’s
chest, dropping him to his knees. As the hunter drops to
his knees Danny then swings the mace into the top of the
hunters head, with the hunter down Daniel finishes him by
swinging the mace down into his stomach.
Jumping: Daniel drops down onto the ground,
lodging the mace into the top of the hunter’s skull.
With the mace now embedded in the hunter’s head Danny
shakes the mace around before finishing the hunter off my
ripping the mace out of his skull.

This 12-gauge shotgun has had the barrel
length shortened to produce pellet spreading at shorter
range. It's the most powerful short-range weapon in the
game, at the expense of weak long-range damage.
Execution: The hunter
is hit at the back of the head twice with butt of the gun,
dropping him to his knees. Danny then shoots the hunter's
head at close range killing him instantly.

Most people use these bad
boys for trimming back trees that have gone out of control,
Leo uses them for trimming back patrolling hunters that
he believes to be out of control. Taking enemies out
with the sheers makes for warped fun as you replicate
large scissor movements with the Nintendo Wii controller.
Hasty: The cutting end of the shears
are used to pierce through the hunters neck, once inserted
into the hunters neck the shears are pulled apart resulting
in a gaping hole.
Violent: The blades are stuck into
the hunter’s lower back and slowly opened and
closed until the hunter vertebrae has been cut.
|
|
Gruesome: The sheers are used to cut into
the hunters side, as the hunter turns around Leo cuts into
his arm, now that the hunter is defenceless the blades are
clamped around the hunters neck and squeezed until he is dead.
Jumping: Leo jumps from the roof and stabs
the hunter through the neck with the blades of the shears;
once he lands he opens up the blades and pulls them out of
the hunters neck, the hunter then collapses to the ground. |

The manual pump-action, 12 gauge shotgun
reloads rather quickly. It holds eight shells per magazine.
Police officers and soldiers are your best bet for finding
one. There's an alternative version of this weapon that
comes with a flashlight attachment. When you reach the end
of the loaded rounds, allow time to fully reload or you'll
have to reload with every following shot, which greatly
reduces its rapid-fire ability.
Execution: The hunter
is hit at the back of the head twice with butt of the gun,
dropping him to his knees. Danny then shoots the hunter's
head at close range killing him instantly.

Typically found in garden sheds and a work
sites, this gardening tool is more commonly used for digging
and filling holes made in earth. Unfortunately for the Project
Daniel disagrees with these methods of use, instead resorting
to using the shovel for decapitating and crushing skulls.
Hasty: Danny cuts into
the hunters back with the blade end of the shovel and when
the hunter falls to the ground he smashes the back of the
hunter’s head with the shovel to finish him off.
Violent: Daniel sticks
the shovel into the hunter’s lower back, and then
hits him in the chest with the face of the shovel. Daniel
then places the shaft of the shovel across the hunters neck
and sticks his knee into his back, as he pulls back on the
shovel he snaps the hunters neck.
Gruesome: Danny sticks
the shovel between the hunter’s legs and twists it
so that it cuts into the hunters groin and pulls it out
from the hunter’s legs slicing him up. Danny then
leans over the fallen hunter and puts the shovel over his
neck and stands on it, decapitating the hunter’s head.
Jumping: Danny jumps with
the shovel sideways and plants it in the hunter’s
head, once he lands on the ground he pulls the shovel back
out of his head.

In normal day life the sledgehammer is
typically used for erecting the likes of fence posts, in
Manhunt 2 for crushing skulls. Do you really wonder why
there's no more swinging after the first hasty swing? One
swing of the sledgehammer is more than enough to completely
crush the skull of anyone. You can acquire them by disarming
maintenance workers.
Hasty: The hunter is hit
clean on the back of the head with the sledgehammer, causing
him to instantly hit the ground dead.
Violent: The hunter is
tapped on the back with the head of the sledgehammer, when
the hunter turns around Danny hits him square in the face
which causes part of his head to be smashed clean off.
Gruesome: The hunter is
hit on the shoulder with the hammer knocking him to the
floor, Danny then breaks the hunter’s knee with another
blow from the sledgehammer. Daniel then smashes the hunter
in the face as he reaches for his broken knee in agony.
Jumping: The hunter it
struck on the back of the head with the sledgehammer, knocking
him to the ground. While lying on his front Daniel hits
the back of his head with the hammer.

| The sniper rifle fires 7.62 x 51mm rounds and has an eight-round
magazine capacity. This weapon can only be fired when looking
through the scope. The Nintendo Wii version of the game features
aim lag. Once you're familiar with its sensitivity, the precision
of this rifle is unmatched; one clear shot to the head will
leave little more than stump.
Execution: The hunter is shot at point blank
range in the back, this causes him to drop to the ground and
face his attacker, and he is then smashed in the head with
the butt of the rifle to finish him off.

| This is melee weapon of choice for the Watchdogs. The stun
prod delivers an electrical shock to the victim when the trigger
is pulled. The item is typically used to herd cattle or to take
someone down without inflicting fatal wounds, in the hands of
a sociopath it can be used to explode heads, literally!
Hasty: The hunter is electrocuted between
the legs from behind and falls to the ground, the fallen hunter
is then electrocuted a further three times in the back as
he lays on the ground.
Violent: The hunter is electrocuted on the
back of the neck and then the side of the neck, he then drops
to his knees and is then hit in the face with the stun prod.
Gruesome: Danny sticks the prod into the
hunters back and stuns him. The hunter turns round only to
have the stun prod stuck in his mouth, after about four seconds
the hunters head explodes, Daniel then kicks the hunter’s
body over.
Jumping: The hunter is struck on the back
of his head with the cattle prod and drops to the ground instantly.
