Manhunt 2 Sickle, Shotgun, Crowbar, Plastic bag

One of the interesting things in the original Manhunt was the way it changed halfway through. After hours of creeping through shadows to deliver gruesome stealth kills, original hero Cash suddenly starts packing heat and dishing out shooty justice to his pursuers. It was a massive shift in the balance of power. This time, however, guns are in almost from the start.

As a result, shootouts are a nearly always an option, with cover a crucial part of firefights. Head shots pop skulls like rotten melons, but it's also possible to creep up on victims and ram the barrel down their throat before squeezing the trigger. Gunplay isn't always advisable though. Some of the 'hunters' chasing the new boy Daniel ' a victim of cruel medical experiments ' are well, trained mercenaries, making direct confrontations suicidal. So stealth is still vital, with the ability to create areas of shadow by smashing lights proving to be a useful new skill.

These are also environmental kills. These include bouncing a victim's skull off a barrel before downing them in it, pushing people into the rotating drums of industrial machinery, plus the savage weapon-based kills. Most gruesome so far? Crowbarring a face clean off. Gross!
