Manhunt 2 The Horror Comes to Handheld

What's The Story

Rockstar's controversial muder-'em-up is stalking into our lives this summer. Whereever you thought of the incredibly dark origional, Rockstar's GTA Vice City and Liberty City Stories games have been amoungst the best on PSP so the prospects are intriguing.

What do we know?

As uaual the publisher is keeping its bloodstained cards close to it's chest. "We have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspence and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward," says Rockstar founder Sam Houser. The trailer certainly suggests a much more recognisible videogame plot, with a character named Daniel Lamb forcibly contained in a mental asylum and determined to escape. No phychotic movie directors barking murderious orders of death row escapees here then.

Development is being handled by the new Rockstar London studio, although Rockstar Leeds and Rockstar North are also overseeing the project. How's everything going? Well, the publisher has just started showing code off so things are clearly progressing nicely.

When do we get more?

Screenshots in next's month's issue. Fingers Crossed...

Anything else to declare?

It's been widely reported that a version of the game was previously in production at Rockstar's Vienna studio but this closed last year it's not clear whether Rockstar London has started again from scratch.
