I know that. But I forget who (tonewww, 41hc1, or Herohoff) did it, but they managed to get the animation in from the PS2 version, but when trying to charge the attack, the game crashed. It's in the mls, and with zombie's editing, we might be able to get that for PC.

PS2 version of Manhunt 2. PS2 melee attacks were slow, but you could charge up, however, enemies could hit very fast. Vice Versa for PC, you hit fast, they hit slow but can charge up strength in their attacks.

mls files are purely for level scripting, not general game functionality. If there's conveniently an opcode that somehow re-enables that functionality (which is a 1 in 1,000,000 chance), then sure, it's possible if done on a per-map basis.

I'm fairly certain it'll be able to re-enable dismemberment on the PSP though, since I'm pretty sure the PSP has an opcode for it.

Yes, but only at specific points in levels, if I remember correctly. This implies that there's an mls opcode to toggle dismemberment

How to remove the blur during executions and add PC red filters? I'm playing on PPSSPP if that helps.

It happened only with Sexual Deviants and Origins where you need a head. Other times the executions would play without the head being cut off. But blowing up the head with weapons was always possible.
