Red Dead News | Eyes-On Red Dead Redemption Previews Online
A plethora of websites have now posted their eyes-on preview of Red Dead Redemption.
Most of the information within them has been relayed by IGN previously but you
may still be interested in what the others have to say about the game based
on what they were shown.
There are also a bunch of new screenshots to accompany the write-ups, so be
sure to check out their respective image galleries.
GTA News | GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony Announced
Rockstar
Games have finally announced details regarding the second episode of Grand Theft Auto IV DLC, titled “The Ballad of Gay Tony”. As was heavily
rumoured, players will get to experience Liberty City through the actions of
Luis Lopez.
"Liberty City is the most vibrant game world we've created yet. The
episodic structure has allowed us to interweave stories, gameplay and atmosphere
in a whole new way," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "The
team at Rockstar North have yet again surpassed themselves, and made something that is both epic and very innovative. This episode's focus on high-end night life contrasts with the biker gangs portrayed in The Lost and Damned, whilst giving us a lot of new gameplay possibilities."
Grand Theft Auto IV's second downloadable episode, The Ballad of Gay Tony injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime. As Luis Lopez, part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka "Gay Tony"), players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.
This fall will also see the release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City which combines both episodes of DLC, “The Lost and Damned”
and “The Ballad of Gay Tony” on the same disk for the price of $40,
both episodes will be playable without requiring a copy of the Grand Theft Auto
IV. Unfortunately for PlayStation 3 and PC owners this is also scheduled to
be an Xbox 360 exclusive.
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City delivers two games on one disc - the all-new episode The Ballad of Gay Tony and the first episode, The Lost and Damned - together on disc for the first time - for Xbox 360 for $39.99
and will not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play. The
Ballad of Gay Tony will release on Xbox LIVE this fall for $19.99 or 1600
MS points and requires players to have Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 and
Xbox LIVE membership to download.
Additionally Take-Two have announced that Red Dead Redemption has been delayed
beyond the vaguely placed fall 2009 timeframe that was initially allotted to
the title. Instead it should see release sometime between the 1st of November
2009 and April 30th 2010, in other words the same timeslot that Grand Theft
Auto IV seen release in 2008. There is no word on any possible delay of Max
Payne 3, which is slated for release sometime this winter.

Their latest tweet (what?) teases the following:

Before you do that though head over to Game

2009 Guys Choice Awards. Grand Theft Auto IV is up for favourite new character (Niko) and favourite music awards.
